Dosage
Dosage will depend on a number of factors including tolerance, gender and how it’s taken. This is a guide only.
Recommended dose = 50mg + your bodyweight in kilos
E.g. if you weigh 70kg the recommended dose is 50 + 70 = 120mg
If you are going to re-dose, it should be no more than half the original dose and be taken 2-3 hours in.
Harm Reduction Advice
- 1g of MDMA crystal/powder is equivalent to roughly 8 adult doses, and pills vary in strength from around 1-3 adult doses. So ig you’re using pills, start with a quarter, or half. With pills and crystal wait at least two hours before re-dosing. Start Low and Take It Slow.
- Snorting drugs can be damaging to your nose, so always crush your drugs finely, alternate nostrils, avoid sharing equipment and wash your nose out at the end of the night.
- Mixing drugs, including alcohol, can be risky. Click here for more information on drug combinations.
- If you’re dancing, remember to sip a pint of water per hour to avoid dehydration and take breaks from the dancefloor to avoid overheating.
- If someone is overheating, take them to a cooler, calmer place. Remove outer clothing and try to cool them down with damp cloths.
- You’re likely to feel depleted after using drugs. Hydrate, eat something nutritious and rest. Click here for more information on taking care of yourself after a session.
- If someone collapses or becomes unresponsive, seek immediate medical attention. You will not get in trouble for doing this. Click here to read up on drug-read up on drug-related emergencies.
- Avoid taking MDMA more regularly than once every three months. This will allow time for your body and brain to fully recover between sessions.
- We recommend you always test your drugs, for information on testing services in Bristol, click here.
- If you’re out and about, make sure you and your mates have a safe way to get home, definitely don’t drive.
