Training Local Pharmacies

On Wednesday, BDP hosted the Avon Local Pharmaceutical Committee’s specialist Drug and Steroid Training event to support pharmacist and people working in pharmacies across Bristol.

Invited by Avon LPC representatives, it was a great opportunity to inform a large group of local pharmacists about a range of support we offer, including:

• Reducing harm for Image & Performance Enhancing Drug users
• Providing Naloxone to reverse the effects of opioid overdoses
• Introducing Low Dead Space equipment in our Needle Exchange to prevent the spread of Blood-Borne Viruses
