Intensive Family Support
Bdp's Parent Support Workers can support you in making positive changes for you and your children. We can support you around your alcohol or drug use and parenting; or with goals such as finding out what resources are available for parents and children in your local area; helping you talk to your social worker or support around difficult relationships. The Intensive Family Support service can work flexibly with your needs.
This service is for parents who live with their children and where there is a child protection plan in place through Children and Young People’s services. At this time, you may feel that you need some support to make changes. We will visit you at home regularly for 3- 6 months so that we can work towards goals that are important to you.
If you are a professional and would like to make a referral to the Intensive Family Support service, please download a ROADS referral form and return it to us by post, marked private & confidential to The Assessment Team, Bdp, 11 Brunswick Square, Bristol, BS2 8PE. If you would like to discuss a referral, please ring The Family Team on 0117 9876009.
